It's the final week of the 2026 Clausura and there's a slate of six games tonight, two of which will determine who makes the Liguilla and who doesn't. Atlas hosts FC Juárez and Tijuana hosts Mazatlán. Both games kick off at 9:10 local time (11:10 US East Coast). If Juárez draws or loses, a Xolos Femenil win puts Tijuana into the Liguilla. If Juárez loses and Xolos Femenil draws, it'll come down to goal differential. Las Bravalácticas are currently at +8 while Xolos Femenil are at +6.

Beyond that, there can be a lot of movement within the top 8 teams. Rayadas is one point up on América for superlíder (first in the league) at the moment. Both teams host powerful opponents however, with Rayadas playing in a Clásico Regio against Tigres while América hosts Pachuca. Pachuca and Tigres are third and fourth, respectively with just two points separating them. Chivas is one point behind Tigres, and Toluca is one point below them. Those two teams square off in Guadalajara tonight. Remember, the top four teams will play the return leg of the first round at home.

Meanwhile Cruz Azul is in the Liguilla and could rise as high as sixth with a win and a Toluca draw or loss. They'll host a disappointing Pumas side tomorrow. Rounding out the action, León hosts Atlético San Luis in the first match of the week at 5 PM local (7 PM US East Coast). Finally, Puebla and Necaxa square off in Puebla tomorrow with Necaxa trying to avoid another wooden spoon. If they win, it'll be up to Querétaro to win on the road against Santos Laguna to avoid finishing dead last in the League.

Game of the Week

There are a lot riding on some of these games, however I’m going to go with the Clásico Regio between Rayadas and Tigres. Nothing like a rivalry match in the final week of the season that could determine who wins the superlíder and where teams will finish in the final standings.
