The schedule for the Liga MX Femenil semifinal is out, however because it’s Liga MX Femenil, things are never quite that easy. At the time this was published, the league had all games listed as not being broadcast. This isn’t quite true, as I was able to find links to the matches that will be shown on ViX, which are also usually simulcast on the league’s YouTube page. And we also know that the television rights are contractual obligations set by the home team, so it’s a fairly safe bet that whoever broadcast the match last week will do so again this week.

All that’s to say check your local listings before the match because things are subject to change.

Game of the Week

I always feel like it’s cheating a bit if I choose the same team two weeks in a row for this, but I am so intrigued by the project in Toluca I feel compelled to tout their series against América as the one to watch this week. Toluca bossed a very good Tigres team, really keeping the defending champions out of things for most of the series. América on the other hand is fortunate to have gotten past Juárez, a team that squeaked into the Liguilla in the last week of play. América were the benefactors of a controversial red card in the 38th minute, then getting awarded a penalty two minutes later to secure safe passage to the next round. We’ll see whose luck holds out longer.
