Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2024 Clausura, Week 8
Liga MX Femenil returns to action, and here's how to watch the games this weekend.
Liga MX Femenil is back! After the international break, the teams are getting back into action. That said, several teams are going to be at a disadvantage since some players are still with their national teams. While it looks like all games will be (legally!) available in México, only four will be (legally!) available in other countries.
Game of the Week
I think the best matchup on paper is Pumas vs. Tijuana, however Xolos Femenil will be at a bit of a disadvantage because they’ll be missing Mayra Pelayo, who is still on W Gold Cup duty. You may know her from her play at the University of Florida, or from watching her with Xolos Femenil, or maybe from this…

Sorry, not sorry. I’m going to post that video every chance I get.
Still, the game should be a good one. Both teams really need the points to make their case for the Liguilla, tied at just one point behind eighth place Puebla. Pumas having the home field advantage may be the key, with the altitude and the noon kickoff under the hot Mexico City sun making it miserable for anyone trying to come and grab three points. Still don’t count out Xolos Femenil. After all, they have players capable of doing this.
GOLAZOOOOOOOOOOOO 🚀🇲🇽
