Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2024 Apertura, Week 8

Approaching the midway point of the season, we get our first clásico

Just one extra game this week, not including midweek CONCACAF W Champions Cup matches for Rayadas and América. That said there should be some consequential matches in league play this week as we approach the midway point of the season. Just like last week, the games that are being played will all be (legally!) broadcast in México, and all but a couple (legally!) available in the US.

Game of the Week

It has to be the Clásico Captialino Femenil between Pumas and América. Not only is it a match between historic rivals, but between two good teams to boot. As of this writing, Pumas sits in fifth place and América in sixth, and three points would be a massive lift in keeping a team with the top four teams. Throw in that América has a Thursday night game against Juárez and then has to head to Portland to take on the Thorns, this could be an even more interesting matchup.
