Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2024 Apertura, Week 7

A jam-packed slate of games, most of which should be fairly entertaining

Another week chock full of games! Eleven in league play (nine regularly scheduled matches as well as two that were rescheduled from earlier in the season). No Concacaf W Champions Cup matches this week - it’ll be back in two weeks. The games that are being played this week however will all be (legally!) broadcast in México, and all but a couple (legally!) available in the US.

Another week full of good matches too. The off-week match of América vs. Juárez should be a good one, as should Juárez’ game against Tijuana and América’s game at León. And don’t sleep on Mazatlán vs. Querétaro - these two teams are pretty evenly matched and should provide an interesting contrast in styles.

Game of the Week

This week I’m gonna pick Chivas vs. Cruz Azul as the best viewing of the bunch. Chivas has been consistently good, while Cruz Azul started out hot but has been rather inconsistent. Sure they beat América, but they’ve also lost to Pachuca, León, and Tijuana. Which Cruz Azul will show up?
