Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2024 Apertura, Week 6
There will be twelve games on tap this coming week!
Another week of Liga MX Femenil, this time with 12 games thanks in part to some of the games rescheduled from earlier in the tournament. Throw in the upcoming CONCACAF W Champions Cup, and there is going to be a lot of soccer coming your way. The best news is that all of it will be (legally!) available in México and most of it will be (legally!) available in the United States.
There are going to be some good matches, too. Tigres hosts Pumas in a match between two of the best in the league. Necaxa hosts Mazatlán in what will be a rare opportunity for those teams to get a win. I could go on and on, but almost all of the matches hold some intrigue for the teams involved.
Game of the Week
I said it on the Our Futbol Podcast but I’m going to go with Juárez vs. Rayadas. Both of these teams have huge question marks on them, albeit from different angles. Juárez is the perennial “almost there” team, and this year is like so many others when we wonder if they’re able to make it to the next level. Beating Rayadas would be a huge step to that end. Rayadas on the other hand are coming off of a poor showing in the Summer Cup and haven’t really inspired confidence in league play. They’re the defending champions, and a win over a solid team like Juárez would inspire confidence not only in those of us on the outside watching this team but in the team themselves.
