Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2024 Apertura, Week 4

Almost a full slate of games as the league returns to whatever normal is anymore

Liga MX Femenil is returning to normal, or at least whatever passes as normal for la liga exótica. All of the teams except Mazatlán and Tigres play their games as scheduled this week, and at the time of this writing it looks like all of the teams will be back from their US adventures for now. That’s good news for us diehards and sickos, who will find that almost all of the games will be (legally!) available in the US (and all of them in México).

Game of the Week

This week has some really intriguing matchups, but none moreso (for me at least) than Cruz Azul hosting Pachuca. Cruz Azul was a wreck last season, but has seemingly rebuilt themselves in a short amount of time and look like a team ready to head back to the Liguilla. Pachuca meanwhile has looked good in league play but have been exposed in the NWSL X Liga MX Femenil Summer Cup. Which team will show up? If it’s the Tuzas we’ve seen in league play there’s a good chance they’ll walk away with all three points. If it’s the ones who have been run over in the Leagues Cup, then it could be a disappointing result as they try and win their first Liga MX Femenil championship.
