Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2023 Clausura, Week 6

How to (legally) watch all of this weekend's Liga MX Femenil games in the United States and México.

There was a lot that went down last week, and luckily we in the United States could watch most of it legally. This week may be a bit different, with just five of the nine games legally available north of the border. Still, there are some really good games on this week, and it’ll be interesting to see how these teams do heading into the international break.

Game of the Week

There are some really intriguing matches this week, but I’m going to go with Juárez hosting Tigres. These two are regional rivals, although the rivalry has been pretty one-sided with Tigres winning all six previous meetings. Juárez however has emerged this season as a legitimate contender, and they won’t be intimidated by the reigning champions.

That said, unfortunately it doesn’t look like the match will be legally viewable in the United States, so those of us north of the border can look forward to legally watching the Cruz Azul match against Monterrey. I think Monterrey is overall the better team, but teams have had fits trying to figure out Cruz Azul this year. Gaby Machuca and the defense have allowed just two goals in three games at home and Monterrey has won their last two games by 1-0 scores. This one could get real interesting, especially if Monterrey looks as pensive on the ball as they have at points this season.
