Just a friendly reminder that while those of us get to experience the joy of Daylight Saving Time this weekend, our friends in México do not and therefore please pay attention to game times starting Sunday.

Game of the Week

Unbeaten Rayadas host Pachuca on Monday night, and it should be a good one. Rayadas have looked invincible this season, only getting better as the season’s gone on. They’ve also weirdly enough seemed to have gone unbeaten in eight games with little fanfare, while all of the attention has been focused on Juárez and Pachuca’s ascendence. That can’t sit right with them, and while teams manufacture a narrative of being disrespected all the time, Rayadas might actually have merit to theirs. They will be coming off of a Thursday night friendly against North Carolina Courage, and while it’s just a friendly I’m sure the players will be battling their hardest nonetheless.

Pachuca must also feel a bit hard done, coming in off of a loss at home against América in a wild match that was 3-2 just 20 minutes in. They fought hard but only a stellar performance from Itzel González kept them from salvaging a point. A perfect way to bounce back from the loss would be to hand Monterrey their first loss of the season.
