Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2023 Clausura, Week 16

It’s crunch time, y’all.

There are six teams still mathematically in the hunt for three remaining Liguilla spots. Watching some of these story arcs has been so much fun, but the reality is that the party is going to end for three of these teams either this week or next. The good news is that most of the games will be legally available in the United States and Mexico. The bad news is that some games of consequence won’t be legally available in the US, with the critical game between San Luis and Pumas being legally unavailable outside of Mexico.

Game of the Week

My pick for Game of the Week however is legally available in both countries, with FOX Sports in Mexico and NBC Universo in the US showing Chivas hosting Pachuca on Monday. The game will also be streamed on CHIVASTV and the Telemundo Deportes App, however for the latter you usually must have NBC Universo as part of your cable package.

This could very well be a preview of a Liguilla game, perhaps even the Final. These two teams are among the very best in the league, with Chivas sitting atop the table tied with superlíder Rayadas on points but trailing on goal differential and Pachuca holding the two players tied for the golden boot lead, with Charlyn Corral and Jenni Hermoso each sitting on 17 goals.

These two teams have seemed vulnerable at times, however lately they’ve both shown they’re fierce competitors and this should be a fun one for fans and neutrals alike.
