Liga MX Femenil viewing guide: 2023 Clausura, Week 14

How to (legally) watch all of this weekend's Liga MX Femenil games in the United States and México.

Hard to believe it’s almost May and the Liguilla is less than a month away. Expect more teams to clinch berths this week, with América, Pachuca, and Tigres all having the possibility to secure a spot in the postseason.

Things could take a dark turn for Cruz Azul, Santos, and Puebla; depending on the results of the Juárez-Toluca and Atlas-Pachuca matches, those teams would be mathematically eliminated from the Liguilla.

The good news is that all games will be legally available in México and five of the nine will be legally available in the United States. The remaining four however includes my game of the week…

Game of the Week

FC Juárez hosting Toluca will have all sorts of Liguilla implications. Las Bravalácticas will still be in the Liguilla unless Atlas wins and Toluca wins by six or more, but after starting out hot they’ve cooled significantly. A win here would greatly increase their confidence, although their path to the Liguilla is relatively easy with remaining games at Pumas and Necaxa before hosting Puebla in the season finale.

Toluca on the other hand will need all three points to continue their turnaround and keep the pressure on Atlas, who hold a two point advantage going into the week. Toluca finish the season by hosting León, visiting Cruz Azul at La Noria, and then hosting Club América. Even if Toluca falls short of making the Liguilla, the turnaround they’ve had this season is nothing short of miraculous and they have a lot to build on going forward.
