With the men’s World Cup taking up most of the attention this month, there’s been a bit of a drop off in coverage of woso - at least in some parts of the world. This is due in part to the southern European leagues being their offseason, but also the NWSL’s decision to take over a month off. México is also between seasons, with Liga MX Femenil returning for their tenth season at the end July. That said, there are still woso matches being played. Canada’s Northern Super League is pressing ahead, while leagues in Uruguay, Argentina, and other parts of South America are continuing on as well. Keep an eye on YouTube and enjoy whatever fútbol you can find.

México

Some high-profile moves being made in Liga MX Femenil’s offseason, with FC Juárez saying goodbye to their first-ever foreign-born player Julitha Singano but also bringing in former Santos and Toluca captain Cinthya Peraza. Celeste Espino has left Chivas, with rumors of her going to an archrival making waves in the press. You can keep up with all of the moves in my transfer tracker.

México lost the second of a pair of friendly matches to Australia 3-1.
