Hello dear reader! Apologies for the tardiness of this edition of Fútnotes. I was pretty sick this past Thanksgiving holiday so I’ve been playing catch-up today. Corinthians won everything in 2023. No, really. They won the 2023 Paulistão this past Sunday, and also won the Supercopa do Brasil, the Campeonato Brasileiro, and the Copa Libertadores Femenina, making the Paulistão the fourth title they won this year. They’re only the fifth club to win the Brazilian Quadruple Crown, and the first women’s team to do so.
Don’t ever let them tell you no one pays attention to women’s soccer.
