Fútnotes, Volume 31

All the news that's fit to print, and then some...

I want to start off by saying that I’m not going to devote any more energy to the Luis Rubiales saga, other than to say the outpouring of support for Jenni Hermoso is heartwarming, and Rubiales’ fate is most likely sealed because of the outpouring of support from the world over. There are plenty of great articles out there on the subject, far too many to include in this newsletter. Hopefully his ouster happens sooner rather than later, and I also hope we see this sort of energy the next time players speak up about abuses within their technical staff or federation, even if they didn’t just win the World Cup.
