All the news that's fit to print, and then some...
The Liga MX Femenil season is over, and soccer all over large swaths of the world are ending as well. Of course the NWSL will continue on, as do the Scandinavian leagues, and everything is heading toward the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
I’ve been thinking a lot about what I’m going to do during this down time, and while I (most likely) won’t be publishing 3-4 times a week for a while, I will definitely continue doing this column because it’s largely fun and I feel like it keeps me connected with what’s going on in other parts of the world.
I’ve also got some things in the works I think you’ll enjoy, but you’ll have to stay tuned for those.

Shirley Cruz retired from football a champion as Alajuelense beat Sporting 8-1 on aggregate for their sixth Primera División Femenina de Costa Rica title. (Alajuelense) - Sorry, but I goofed. Alajuelense won 5-4 on aggregate. Shoutout to Coach Shek for pointing this out to me!
