Xolos Femenil went north to San Diego to play a friendly against the San Diego Wave.

Bianca Sierra and her wife Stephany Mayor are expecting twins in September. Congratulations!

Chivas announced a U15 Femenil tournament from May 6-8. Chivas will host U15 teams from Tigres, América, Pachuca, Pumas, Tijuana as well as Selección Jalisco and Ceffo BC. (Chivas)

The Houston Dash signed México National Team goalkeeper Emily Alvarado. Alvarado will join María Sánchez and Diana Ordóñez on the Dash. (Houston Dash)

Suzy Wrack’s A Woman’s Game will be updated to include England’s win in the Euros. I have the original version and it’s a great read, and the updated version is available in the UK via amazon, although your local bookstore can probably order it for you.

Speaking of the NWSL, they had their most ever watch regular season match, with 475,000 people tuning in to see the Kansas City Current and Portland Thorns play on CBS.

Don’t ever let them tell you no one pays attention to women’s soccer.
