April 2023 Liga MX Femenil International Call-Ups

29 players in Liga MX Femenil will be on international duty in the coming days.

A total of 29 Liga MX Femenil players will be on international duty in the coming week, with eleven extranjeras and eighteen Mexican players with eight national teams on four continents.

Argentina

Sophia Braun and Mariana Larroquette from León will join La Albiceleste as they take on Venezuela in a pair of friendlies on April 6 and April 9.

Costa Rica

Valeria del Campo of Rayadas and Lixy Rodríguez of León will join Las Ticas as they play Poland on April 6 and Scotland on April 11.

Spain

Pachuca’s Jenni Hermoso joins Spain as they play Norway on April 6 and China on April 11.

México

Only a handful of players not in Liga MX Femenil on the latest roster from Pedro López, as América has three players (Itzel González, Kim Rodríguez, and Nati Mauleon), Tigres has four (Greta Espinoza, Cristina Ferral, Anika Rodríguez, and Jackie Ovalle), and Juárez has four as well (Miah Zuazua, Jasmine Casarez, Andrea Hernández, and Myra Delgadillo). Pumas’ Melany Villeda, Rayadas’ Karol Bernal, Chivas’ Gabi Valenzuela and Caro Jaramillo, Pachuca’s Karla Nieto and Charlyn Corral, and Alexia Delgado from Cruz Azul round out the domestically-based players. They’ll take on the Chicago Red Stars on April 8 and the Houston Dash on April 11.

Panamá

Pachuca’s Marta Cox will be with Las Canaleras when they host the Dominican Republic in a pair of friendlies on April 6 and April 9.

South Africa

Tigres’ Noxolo Cesane and Juárez’ Jermaine Seoposenwe will represent Banyana Banyana in their upcoming April 10 friendly against Serbia.

Tanzania

Julieth Singano for Juárez will join the Twiga Stars for a match against Kenya.

Venezuela

Cruz Azul’s María Peraza and Club Tijuana’s Paola Villamizar will join La Vinotinto in their friendlies against Argentina on April 6 and April 9.
